How Do You Check YourOSRS Kudos Count?
Once you havecompleted the task of earning Kudos in OSRS, you can check how much you haveearned. To do this, you can find the count located in the top left corner ofyour screen. If you want to check the Kudos count and the tasks thathaven’t been completed, then you can check the north-west corner of theMuseum’s 1st floor. Once you have located the area, simply right-click onthe information booth to check what else you have to do.
How Do You EarnKudos?
There are fourdifferent tasks for you to earn Kudos in the Varrock Museum. The tasksinclude:
- Cleaning Finds
- Orlando Smith’s Natural History Quiz
- Completing Quests for Historian Minas
- Completing Fossil Exhibits
For cleaning finds,you can earn 50 Kudos. Meanwhile, answering questions in Orlando Smith’sNatural History Quiz earns 28 Kudos. There are details of particularquests that you have completed for Historian Minas which will bag you the most,standing at 75 Kudos. Just short of that is the completion of FossilExhibits, which offers 72 Kudos.
Finds can be locatedin the Dig Site. Once you have completed The Dig Site quest, youwill be able to gain access to the area to collect finds. You can then head tothe cleaning area in the southern section of the first floor of Varrock Museum.By conversing with the archaeologists, you will be made aware that you need tohave a trowel, rock pick and a specimen brush. You willalso need to have Leather Boots and Leather Gloves equipped. Onceyou have these pieces of equipment, take them over to the specimen tables toclean your finds. If you are looking for finds, they are located next to SincoDoar in the Dig Site.
Even though the nextmethod offers less Kudos, it is an easy method to do so by completingthe Natural History Quiz. The questions will be based on the creatures you findthroughout OSRS, and you can get started by talking to Orlando Smith. Thereare exhibits throughout the museum with plaques for you to read. Within theselie the answers, and players must answer three questions correctly. Foranswering three correct questions, players will earn 2 Kudos, and there arethree questions per exhibit. There are 14 exhibits in total, and you can alsogain Slayer and Hunter experience in the process.
There is a list ofquests for you to complete to earn Kudos, after which you can head to thesecond floor to talk to Historian Minas. Here you can turn in quests toearn Kudos as well as antique lamps for additional experience. The questsneeded to be completed are:

In order to do so, players will need a spine, pelvis,skull and a set of both limbs and ribs. There are alsoplant displays which require roots, a branch, a leaf, a mushroomand a stump. Each display grants you 2 Kudos points, as well as additionalXP.
How many Kudos do you need to access Fossil Island?
Fossil Island can befound in the north-east side of Morytania. This is a special area forplayers in which they can train their skills. This island is under explorationfrom the Varrock Museum and is available for members-only. The island itself issurrounded by several other islands, which lies at around 13 according to themap found in the House on the Hill’s basement. Despite the large number ofsurrounding islands, only one can be accessed apart from Fossil Island, whichis Lithkren. Tostart this quest you must have already completed The Dig Site and the DruidicRitual quests.
Another requirementis 100 Kudos, then you will also need 100 Kudos or more to accessFossil Island. Before this, 153 Kudos will be needed to access The Dig Site.
