I've stopped by this Loves/McDonalds truck stop at exit 44 on 131 north of Kalamazoo for a snack break. It's new, clean, well-lit, and has friendly people. The truck gas pumps are separated nicely from passenger vehicles. It is laid out well on the property. Nice!
Had to of been 30 minutes I waited for my food. My number was skipped as were others that got frustrated. I was supposed to be served before them as they complained and put themselves ahead of me. When I finally received my food I was in a hurry at that point as I'm now behind on my day. When I got to open the rapping I come to find my sandwich burnt to black. I'm not sure how it could get to that point and how someone could "overlook" this. The time it took and the quality I got may have came from stressed and lack of staff, but to serve something like that.. was disrespect. With this respect lvl, this person shouldn't serve food. As I've already waited this long I would've waited longer to actually be able to eat. That was my breakfast unfortunately. Turns out because you guys were busy I didn't deserve breakfast. Even if I paid for it. Going to fast food is to save time not because I desire this meal. Make it at least edible. And I didn't choose your job, if you don't like it.. change it. Don't make the people on the other side suffer.
I live near West Main and am only a solid 5 minute drive from at least 3 McDonald’s locations, but my fiancé and I make the 10 minute drive to this one because it’s so much better! Our food is always fresh, it’s always correct, and it’s always all there - something most other McDonald’s in the area all fail at. This location is also very clean and the employees have always been friendly. It’s not usually too busy when I come either, and even if it is they keep the line moving. We’ll definitely be returning!

Usually this place is pretty good, but tonight they were not. It was super busy, but they could hardly hear anything we were saying at the speaker and when we got our food one of the meals was made incorrectly. We also ordered the Fanta/sprite freeze and it was only sprite and was half liquid when they handed it to us. It looks like a cup of lemon fabuloso.
Usually a very good McDonald’s had a horrible experience tonight. Fries were great but whoever is doing burgers needs to pay attention. One Quarter pounder had char from the grill not being scraped ALL over it and bun was so greasy I had to pick the whole thing apart. Second Quarter pounder was a deluxe that was so sloppy I had to take it apart and remake it. Way too much mayo, barely any lettuce, one pickle. No way you could eat this driving. Was already down the road or would’ve brought it inside. Disappointing when you pay $15 and you just hear the kids in back laughing cracking jokes and then you get bad food too. Usually this one is great so not sure what the problem was tonight
